well here we are,

Everything is as it is supposed to be. All of the time.
It's amazing to think that 9 months ago I sat in a small classroom down the street from where I'm currently seated at Caffe Vita writing this and i was asked, "when do you think you want to go to Calcutta?"
My immediate answer was "Tomorrow. Now. Anytime."
Then after much consideration I decided the best time would be my Fall 2009 semester.  Well here we are, we made our plans and worked double shifts, we danced and cried, said our goodbyes and now we're about to live life for three months on the opposite side of the world.  I can only speak for myself here but I still can't put my finger on what i'm looking for in India.
Here's what i've come up with so far:
Love,God,Heartbreak,Friends,Beauty,Grace,Peace

(I'll add to this list as i find fit & cross out the ones that i find.)

I want to add how amazingly grateful I am to everyone who has helped me make this dream a reality.  Thank you to everyone who has supported me financially, spiritually, or through kind thoughts and conversation.

Today is the third first day of my great adventure and i wouldn't be here without those who are too foolish to write me off and those whose arms i will eternally find shelter in.
I love you all and will speak with you all very soon.

"The doors of normalcy and conformity are dead.  The time has come to guive up on the doors and find a window to climb through.  It's a little more dangerous and may get you into some trouble, but it is a heck of a lot more fun.  And the people who have changed the world have always been the risk-takers who climb through windows while the rest of the world just walks in and out of doors."
